LET THE BIBLE SPEAK ON JESUS’S RELEGION
I welcome all of you with the islamic greetings "assalamun alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu"
"may peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be on all of you"
Religion by definition is a system of belief and worship. I personally understand religion as a way of life of an individual. Since it is crystal clear that Jesus lived on the surface of the earth, then he must have a way of life.
We Muslims, without any proof from the bible or any other religious scripture, believe that Jesus is the messenger of God and as such; no Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus as a messenger. However, the Christians have an objection to that belief. Allah knows all these will happen and that’s the reason he said in Sura Baqarah chapter no 2 verse no 111 it says that “ And they say: “None shall enter paradise unless he be a jew or a Christian. “Those are their (vain) desires. Say: “produce your proof if ye are truthful.” Allah, having knowing their vain talks, their lies, is telling the believers here, that we should say to them hatuu burqaanakum in kuntum saadiqeen which means ‘provide your proofs if you are truthful’
And, the Jews and Christians have picked up that challenge and have provided their proofs to be the bible. I am asking a question: What are we Muslims supposed to do? Tell them to provide their proofs and sit back and watch like beaten donkeys? No! of course Allah is telling us, after challenging them to provide their proofs, we should carefully analyze their proofs. But unfortunately only but a few Muslims do this.
Since the Christians have provided their proofs, then let their proofs speak for them. Let the bible speak on Jesus’s Religion:
Before I proceed, I will like us to know the following:
Definition of a Muslim: a Muslim is “a person who submits his will to Almighty God
Definition of Islam: Islam means “peace acquired by submitting your will to almighty God
1.      If you read the bible, it is mentioned in the gospel of John chapter no 4 verse no 34 which says “ Jesus saith unto them, “my meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work”
According to this verse, Jesus always did what God who sent him wanted him to do i.e to do the will of Almighty God. One word for that is “MUSLIM” Jesus here tell us that his meat (in other words his responsibility) is to submit his will to God. To do the will of God.
2.      It is mentioned in the gospel of John chapter no 6 verse no 38 that jesus said “For I came down from heaven not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me”
3.      It is mentioned in gospel of John chapter no 12 verse no 49 that Jesus said: “I have not spoken of myself, but the father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that his command is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the father said unto me, so I speak”.
Here, Jesus’s words are words of a servant of God. As a servant, he does nothing other than obeying the commandments of God. One who is God or has a share in divinity cannot utter such words. These are words of submission to God’s will.
4.      It is mentioned in the gospel of John chapter no 5 verse no 30-31 that Jesus said: “I can of mine own self do nothing as I hear I judge and my judgement is just for I seek not my will but the will of my father who sent me. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
This verse proved clearly that Jesus cannot perform any miracle on his own. In this verse Jesus said he was a Muslim. Any one who says not my will but the will of God is a Muslim. So Jesus Christ was a Muslim.
5.      It is mentioned in the gospel of Mathew chapter no 12 verse no 50 that Jesus said: “for whoever does the will of my father in heave is my brother and sister and mother”

In order words, “for whoever is a Muslim is my brother and sister and mother”

Lastly, I want and will always urge Muslims to do DA’AWAH. May Allah give us more knowledge. Ameen

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent and the Most Merciful

THE PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG
This blog site is aimed basically at spreading the true message of Islam to non-muslims. Here on this blog site, I try my level best with the use of the Qur'an , sahih hadeeths and logic to eliminate misconceptions about Islaam.

BRIEF DEFINITION OF ISLAAM
The word Islam, comes from the Arabic root word "salam" which means "peace"
It is also derived from the arabic root word "slm" which means to submit your will to Almighty God.
So in short, "Islam" means "peace acquired by submitting your will to Almighty God"

WHO IS A MUSLIM?
A muslim is a person who submits his will to his creator - Almighty God

WHAT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF A MUSLIM?
The responsibility of a muslim cannot be over emphasized. Basically, a practicing muslim should know, follow, and strive to obey all the commandments of his Creator - Almighty God. One of the responsibilities of a muslim is DA'AWAH.

WHAT IS DA'AWAH ?
The word Da'awah comes from the arabic root word "Da'aa" which means "to invite". So, da'awah simply means invitation. Allah says in sura asr chapter no 103 verse no 1-3 that Da'awah is compulsory on each and every muslim.

I urge every muslim to please pray for the success of this blog. May Allah increase us in knowledge and understanding. May Allah use this blog to eradicate or at least neutralize the effect of the misconceptions about Islaam in the hearts of non-muslims. Lastly, I pray to Allah to use me and this blog to guide the non-muslims into this relegion of peace - Islam. Aameen
